20AUG04. She was at my cousin's, her son's home. He called his neice who called me. It sounds like she went fairly quickly. I would be grateful if you could include the Deaver/Fowler families in your thoughts and prayers.

I am miffed at my cousin's wife right now, tho. Their daughter, the nice cousin, L., who called me last night, took her son, R., to spend a couple of hours with Grandma & Grandpa. When they got to the door, my cousin's wife told L., her own daughter & in front of her grandson even!, that because her daughter took them, cousin & his wife, to court to get her, L.'s, son back.... that is what killed my Aunt. The nerve! Nice mom, huh?
L. was soooo hurt. She called her Uncle and he assured her that it was Maudie's heart that quit, not anything L. said about winning her court case and getting her own son back. Truth be told, even though cousin & his wifey are telling their own kids and others that the whole family really backs them and that we all think they should keep their grandson away form his own mother, they are so off base! We all have stood behind L. to get her son back. And that includes cousin's own brothers and his mom, Maudie. His dad, Uncle Wayne, died awhile back, but even he agreed that L. should have her son back.

Sorry about the rant, but wifey gets on my nerves like you wouldn't believe! That part of the family is like a soap opera.....but I don't know if anyone would believe me, with the stories going on there! Sometimes I don't even believe it and I'm here to see it!! :: sighs :: Oh well.
Wake service is Tues. at 7 P.M. and funeral is Weds. at 10:30 A.M. Please send us lots of positive thoughts for that day.... as it should prove interesting to say the least. Another cousin and I are just on the verge of ripping our cousin, his wifes and their son, Jr. a new.... ars***le Okie, breath in.......hold it...... release! Somewhat better now

Oh, wow, that does sound like a soap opera! I'm sorry you have to deal with all of that on top of the death of your aunt ( I feel sorry for the other members of your family as well).

After reading your first prayer request I was surprised to hear that she died

I've learned that people can seem to be doing well and go so suddenly, especially at work (I work in geriatrics). It's very sad
