Ok to the powers above, what is going on with all these pop ups ? They are getting so bad that I don't even want to open new posts cause they will show up. The scotties one is the worst, but looking for sexy singles is just as bad,
Why are we getting these allthe time now ? If you can please make them stop.

As far as the scott one goes, it's here to stay. It can easily be closed via the small x in the right hand corner of the ad. I've asked about the sexy singles one, and I'll get back to you once I've heard something.

Ya the scott one goes but pops up everysingle time you open a new post. It is crazy. Why are we getting these all of a sudden ? we never got them with ezboard,

SheKnows (as a network) has always tried different advertising methods. We all wish that the boards could be free, but they simply are not. These are private boards that are offered for use to the public.

In order to keep these boards free, the advertising is a must. And from and advertising standpoint, those pop-up ads pay much better (even per impression) than the rest of the ads around the site.

The only thing I can really offer as a suggestion is a good pop-up blocker (or two), and perhaps try a different browser? I'm using IE, but I really don't see it that often.
