Forum overkill

Am I the only one who thinks there's way too many forums? For example, do we really need a forum for each newschannel, or one for every popular singer?

Instead of the current setup, where many forums have 0 posts, why not have one for "All Things Music" and one for "All things TV" ??

Fewer forums would make things a lot easier to navigate, and instead of adding 15 new forums right off the bat, just add them as they are needed.
