Whenever I click a public profile I am given the error "you don't have permission to view...". I can't even view my own profile, let alone others. Or use the private messaging feature, both of these things I've had access to when I first signed up.

What gives?

The site was hacked over the weekend and they are working on restoring things back to the way it was before it happened. The hosts and directors don't have access to do much either.

No problem. I am actually the newest ACD here at SheKnows who was also affected and lost my posts. I and the rest of the directors hope this is back up and running soon but we all know it takes time.

ACD? Sorry, the people use acronymns on this board that I'm unfamiliar with.

The profile thing has just been mostly just a nuisance because that's where I view signatures. I took the option of making them invisible on the boards so I didn't have to look at the same ones repeatedly (some are HUGE! my goodness), but I get curious. It's funny though, when I log off I can look at profiles all I want. I understand though, and again, I appreciate that you responded.

Sorry I am that way too. ACD stands for Assistant Community Director. We work with the CD (Jamie) Community Director on certain things. Hard to explain. I know the feeling when it comes to acronyms (sorry not sure of spelling) I can be the same way!

Aaaah, makes sense now. I read one sentence the other day that had five different acronymns that were foreign to me and I'm like, huh what? Heh. All is good though, and thank you for clearing that one up. This board seems to be pretty active and I'm glad I stumbled onto it.
