http://www.swagbucks.com
Basically it's a search engine (powered by Google and Ask.com) and you get swagbuck points for using it to do your routine searches online. You can then use those "bucks" to buy things from their store - gift cards, clothes, jewelry, music, books, magazines, electronics, games/consoles/accessories, beauty products, kids stuff, etc. I joined on Sept 1 this year and right now I have $50 in Amazon gift cards saved up. My goal is to save up as many as I can before Christmas and use them for Christmas gifts.
Some tips I've gathered... (looks/sounds like a lot of work but really it's not, depends on how much you want to get out of it as to how much you need to put into it)
Download and use the toolbar (you get points for using it on top of points for your search). Plus it gives you easy access to the blog, earn ideas, swagstore.
You don't get points for EVERY search but when you do get them it's usually 9, 10, 11, 15, etc. bucks at a time.
Do the "daily 5"
- watch swagbucks tv videos (around 5 points every few videos, I just let them play while I'm checking email or on here)
- refresh your toolbar/log in to swagbucks (1pt)
- NOSO's (after skipping about 3-5 of them you get a point)
- log in to the surveys (1 pt - I never do the surveys, they appear to be scams but you get the point for logging in to check for them and you get points for doing the ones in your profile)
- daily poll (1pt)
I use my "fake" email address for all the "special offers" so it doesn't junk up my regular email address. And I never do the ones where I have to download something. I only do the "free" ones.
Referrals get you a lot of points. You get each point they do for searches (not the special offers or other daily things, just searches). It adds up quickly if you have a lot of referrals!
There are "swagstakes" you can do. I've never won and kick myself for wasting my "bucks" on them lol but they're still fun to try sometimes.
Swagcodes - usually once a day or every couple of days they put out special codes you can enter (on your homepage in the code box) for points. Just be care of the "specialty ones" like the sports ones or music pages, you can only use those on that particular swagsite. They evidently don't go in with your whole swagbucks total. Found that out the hard way after I got almost 60 points one day with codes This FB page tells you where you can find the codes when they're posted
Welcome to Facebook some days there aren't any and other days they'll have 3-4.
This is my ledger from just the last 2 days, you can see how many "bucks" I've gotten and how I got them:

Give it a try! I promise it's not a scam

I've already used my Amazon gift cards to buy stuff. I'm saving up right now for Target and Starbucks gift cards.
