Hey ladies.
Left a message under the 2ww thread...sorry to hear everyone is having cramps and feeling down. I know- my partner and I had a really rocky weekend because Wednesday we found out we weren't pregnant. And the prometrium has been messing with my body. Then, on Sunday, we found out I already have 4 follicles that are quite large (on day three!) so we may inseminate this weekend...It's a roller coaster.
You know, I am interested in knowing all of you more personally. Here we are, sharing our most intimate heartaches, and I don't even know what everyone does for a living. I'll start.
I'm 28, my partner's 41, we've been together three years. We live right outside of DC in Maryland. I'm a college English professor by day and a full-time Masters in Fine Arts (creative writing) graduate student by night. I'm working on my second novel (my first is a lesbian piece that I'm stuck in the editing process with...) I've worked with Robin Lippincott (if you've never read his _Our Arcadia_, you should!) and am currently working with Mary Waters (whose collection, _The Laws of Evening_ is also awesome...)
I have three cats and a sweet dog, too

. She's not letting me in on the stuff she's feeling because she doesn't want us to go crazy, but she did say that she is feeling things that she normally doesn't feel. That's all she's willing to give up for now. I think I like being the one to try and get pregnant better than being the partner of the one trying to get pregnant. Oh well, we'll test in six days if AF hasn't shown up. Good luck girls, and we'll let you know at the end of the week what the outcome is.
