Well, ladies, it's moving along. We found a Midwest Sperm bank, still rather expensive but definitely not as much as the ones in CA. We're going to go ahead and try them at least once, and then go from there. I've contacted them and we're hoping to try for the first time in December. I know, that's so far away, I'm gonna go crazy waiting for it! But we need to do a little financial tweaking, and I'm sure if I can manage not to dwell on it it'll speed by (like that's going to happen.) I'm so excited that we're finally doing something concrete here. We've been looking at the list of donors and talking alot about what we each want in a donor, which is something we haven't really discussed in detail before. We might need a couple of months to be able to agree on a donor! But I'm so nervous now. I mean, we're actually going to do it. For so long we've just said, we'd only use a private donor, and so it wasn't happening but now we are doing it. Oh man. But I'm excited!

That's awesome. I'm glad that you have found a way to make it work! I remember how excited I was the first time we did something concrete. Keep us updated on the hunt for sperm....(always a good time!)
