The donor (a personal friend) that we are planning on using for our inseminations was a twin. His brother passed in child birth. Has anyone had experiance with their donor being a twin? How high are the odds that we will have twins? Is there any guessing or is it luck of the draw?

I'm pretty sure twins are always determined by the egg or eggs not the sperm. There is always just one that penetrates the egg/s.

2 or more eggs released + 1 sperm insemination = Fraternal Twins
1 egg + 1 sperm then it splits = Identical Twins

Thanks everyone! Thats what I pretty much thought but the whole thing just made me nervous. Im nervous enough to carry one baby let alone multiples!
