Starztt, it's your week for GTY
Ok, here are some questions for you to start with...
- How did you and your DP meet?
- Where did you go to highschool? What kind of HS student were you (popular/outcast/athlete/cheerleader etc)
- What do you do work wise? Do you like it?
- If you could have any job what would it be?

Thank God she is a good person too
Question 2:
I went to high school at simi valley high.. i was an athlete, played basketball and got a full ride scholarship to a div. Im sooooo jealous that you guys got to legally wed!!!! (happy for you though )
What do you live in house/condo/apt?
What do you like about it? Not like?
Whats the decor like?
If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
What was Belgium like?

Re: Starztt, it's your week for GTY
Okay these questions are good..here i go!!
1 and 2. We live in a house and are looking to buy a house in the next couple of months... right now we just rent a 4bed. 2.5 bath, backyard for the golden retriever I love living in a house!!! i like the fact we have so much space, a garage, we live in a cul de sac so we can hang out front with the dog and not worry about him get hit by cars, this is the first house we have ever lived in together.. everything else has been apartment and we were just getting over apartment style living.. so here we are.. excited to buy here soon though
2. The decor is funny thing because we are waiting to buy furniture for our new house.. so currently all the furniture in the house is from our previous apartment... so if you think about it the furniture fit our apartment perfectly and it was 1200 sq.ft... well our house is 2200 sq. ft.. so you can imagine we need a little more furniture but we have black leather couches, the kitchen is red green and tan color decorated with vines and wine bottles on the top of the shelves, we have black granite counters right now so the colors look good.. the kitchen was my "project" so im pretty proud of it , the colors in the living romm are black grey and blue with a white coffee table... our bedroom is black grey and red... so like i said my color schemes are there just need more of it once we buy a home..
3.If I could live anywhere it would probably be newport or huntington beach.. i would love to have a beach house and live in a nice big house right next to the water.. we love the beach and go every weekend.. plus we will be closer to our friends and family..
4.Belgium was amazing.. scary at first but amazing... when i found out i had been picked up on a team out there.. they literally gave me four days to pack say goodbye and get my butt out there.. so it was a real quick change in my life but an amazing experience.. i met great people, played good ball, and tried alot of belgium beer i look at my life now where i barely dringk to where i came from going to uc santa barbara where drinking is an everyday event in the spring and summer and in belgium when i was drunk every saturday night.. still dont know how i did it.. must be the getting old factor
5.oh wow my favorite physical feature of myself? now thats a hard one since i dont compliment myself very often.. i ll just go by what others have said.. i guess that would be my eyes and my legs okay im offically embarrassed.. as for my wife.. thats easy.. when i was younger i always though someone with black dark hair and light eyes was the hottest thing to me... so she is jet black hair and bright blue eyes... oh yeah and all her tattoos.. we have a thing for tattoos..and she is covered in them.. about to have her second sleeve done...
6.For fun.. we like to be active, go to amusement parks, take the dog to the beach, travel to long beach to visit friends and family, and sometimes we just like to be at home with each other.. we work opposite schedules so we definately value our spare time together...
okay those questions were good..!!!!

Nosy!!!!!!
Ohhh Startzz I've got questions too!
I think somewhere you once said your wife works at a prison, is that right? Does she have as much education as you, and if not, what impact do you see that having on your relationship?
Are your wedding pics from your -legal- wedding, or from a ceremony that you had before the Supreme Court ruled?
Are you out at work?
You mentioned your jock roots :-) and yet you are the one wearing the dress in the wedding pics. Is your girl real butch? Or how did you decide what to wear to get married?
Now this one is super-nosy, but Berta and I are flying to San Diego to get married on the 21st: did you guys get hitched at city hall or have a friend do it or what and how did it go? Were you comfortable with the officiant (if it wasn't a friend?) What was the wedding site like? Was it nice or real town-hall-ish?
Whew!! If you don't feel like answering these, please tell me to mind my business!! I just love hearing about other lesbians that are in a similar place in their lives as me. Makes me feel more like a real person somehow.

Re: Starztt, it's your week for GTY
alright anne&berta those are some tough ones but i like it!!!
1. my wife does work at the prison.. she is a correctional office which is a peace office.. you know like any other officer.. and she is very educated.. probably one of the smartest people i have ever met.. she has her bachelors degree which is way more than what the state requires educational wise.. so i got a smart one who is a bad a** motha too and just because i have a masters does not mean i am smart by any means.. actually my masters program was the easiest course work i ever did.. go figure
2.our wedding pics are from our ceremony and reception back in oct 27 2007... to us that was our marriage and how we celebrated it... when the supreme court rules we marched our happy butts down to city hall and had to do a "ceremony" in the hall.. we were trying not to laugh because in our minds we already had done this.. it was just funny but very memorable and we were a part of history
3.i am not at work... but i do get on occasionally at work cuz im super bored!!! im at home now
4.yes i am a total athlete but such a girly girl its ridiculoud.. dont get me wrong i had my stage in college when i was just sooooo proud to be gay so i chopped my hair off and wore my cargo shorts but that all changed once i started to come into my own and figure out who i really was.. so yes i am very femmy and my dw is very butch... i joke around all the time because i swear she is a dude at heart.. gotta love it..she thinks like a dude, is sometimes clueless like a guy.. when we got married we wanted a victorian vampire theme.. so my dress was black in the back and it corsetted doen my back... she had the more punker vampire thing going.. very dark and romantic.. we love the victorian vampire era!!
5. so we got hitched at city hall.. the officiant was cool and nice but like i said before it was quite a different feeling for us becuase we already did all of this ya know? at our actual ceremony we had a minister, our wedding party, limos, rehearsal dinner, and reception that was catered, open bar, on the san diego marina... it was so pretty.. sorry i was being a girl right there and reminiscing our wedding day so when we were down at city hall it was just me and her.. we loved it!!
Anne&berta: were you fyling from? san diego is a great city to get married in

Favorite holiday?
Any siblings?
Favorite food?
What's your favorite childhood memory?
When did you realize you were gay?
When did you come out? Was it easy or hard?

Re: Starztt, it's your week for GTY
oops sorrybout that...
3. my favorite food is Mexican food and I love me some ranch anything spicy is right up my alley.. my wife got me into spicy things
4.my favorit childhood memory is a hard one.. but i would have to say going to spend the night at my aunts house.. we use to watch old movies, go on her boat and go jet skiing, she was my favorite aunt i always wished she was my mom...
5.I realized i was gay when i started realizing i was having feelings for my best friend when i was 16... we never talked about our feeligns at first but would randomely hold hands in the car..the funny thing is we would kiss each other but never on the lips at first.. i guess kissing on the lips meant you were really really gay but that ended.. i was withher for 3 years and now she is a good friend of mine.. dont worry its not a weird ex situation at all.. she is one of those people when you look back and you are like this person was always meant to be a good friend but not a relationship.. i just htink we helped each other to become the people we are today and somewhaht get familiar with our sexuality.. she is is now married to her wife and has 2year ols boy girl twins from IVF..
4. Coming out was definately hard for me... here is some info just for confusion stake... i lived withmy mom first 12 years of my life but she lost me to the courts due to being a drug and alcoholic addict... my dad at this time took custody of me and he had a new wife and two daughters of his own... okay back to coming out... i did not tell my dad and stepmom for the longest time.. i went to college and started to really come to terms with my gayness one time in college i went home and my dad and step mom always suspected i was gay cuz they found love letters in high school from my best friend but i always denied it...so they told me we are going for a ride in the car... so just me my dad and my stepmom.. well long story short they took me on a drive and would not let me out of the car until i fessed up that i was gay... it was the most horrifying experience because i was not ready at all... they said come on just tell us we will love you no matter what... well i told them and they no longer speak to me.. and quite honestly i no longer want to speak to them... i had to do alot of growing, grieving, and work on myself and my soul to get to where i am today... so that is my coming out story..
