Re: NEWER Chatty thread!
Carrie, The nurse said that Claritin is a class B drug, so it's ok to take during pregnancy. She said I could take Flonase now if it helps, but I won't want to take it after the transfer because it's a class C drug. I've been popping sudafed like it's candy. I'm trying to ward off a sinus infection. I feel like I could easily develop one because of how congested I am.
Sorry to hear that your DP's tube is still blocked. It's good that everything else looks ok, though. Would they still recommend that she try IUI's if she were to try getting pregnant? It seems like they would have her move directly to IVF.
Last night was my 3rd night of stims. My stomach is getting really bruised from the injections.
How is everyone else doing? Where are you at in your cycles?

Re: NEWER Chatty thread!
A-try injecting in your thigh. (not your inner thigh)The skin is alot less tender. Are you using Follistim? If so on the pamphlet that comes with it there is a picture of where you can inject and it shows where on your thigh. I was going crazy looking for more tummy room and feeling like a pin cushion then tried my thigh and never looked back.

Re: NEWER Chatty thread!
A- Thanks for the info. about Flonase. I'll keep that in mind.
As for DP, if we do try with her, RE suggested starting with at least one IUI cycle. One reason, the insurance paid for my IUI cycles (we have the same insurance). He said the success rates aren't that much different from one tube to two tubes. Another reason is because her FSH was so high on the Clomid Challenge test. He's not sure how well she'll respond to the meds, so might as well test it out on an IUI. He's skipping Follistim for her, and sending her straight to Menopur. We'll see if we even try this route or not, after the donor embie cycle.

Re: NEWER Chatty thread!
Patty, Thanks for the advice. I've been thinking about making the switch to my thigh but I've been so caught up in my ritual that it's hard to break. KWIM? How are you holding up?
Carrie, I hope your donor cycle is successful so you don't have to consider putting your DP through IUIs and possibly IVF.
Still feeling ridden with allergies. It's just awful. I hope they ease up for at least a few days soon. I could use a break from feeling like this. Meds only put a dent in my symptoms.

Re: NEWER Chatty thread!
Yes- It is taking FOREVER for this cycle to start. I will go off BCP on the 22nd to go back on the 29th for the first part of the cycle to "officially" start. Lupron will start mid-May. I'm sure it will be here before you know it, but time is just slowly ticking away!!! I hope that this is our cycle. I know it really can't get any better- 2 awesome blasts from ultra healthy PROVEN donors! I'm trying to focus on that!
Patty- I can't believe that you are 8 weeks already! Wow! I hope you are able to be done with the progesterone.
OT- Walt did a Easter bone hunt this morning. He did well- found 9 bones- however he didn't win. We went to the off leash dog park right afterward. He had a great time. We came home and took a 2 hour nap. This cold weather has made me soooo tired. I fell asleep at like 8 last night.
