Hello all ! We're new here to this site and are glad we found it. We're excited to meet new friends who are going through the hopes, struggles, celebrations and disappointments of TTC.
My wife and I recently began trying again. We tried last month but just last night we got the DEFINATE answer that were are not PG

. We're going to keep trying but we are wondering if were even "doing it" right. We have a donor (he's wonderful and of course has a clean bill of health) so we are using fresh sperm. He was in the next room - passed the "specimen" on to us and my wife inseminated using a syringe. I tried to use an instead cup but it was so uncomfortable no matter how many times I tried to get it to fit correctly.
My first question is - should we be using a cathedar? I get unclear information on-line. Some sites say using a cathedar is not only NOT NECESSARY but also not recommended with using fresh unwashed sperm.
Also - From what I have been reading, ovulation begins at about day 11 of a 28 day cycle and lasts for about 4 days. Is this correct?
and Finally (for now) we would LOVE to hear from any Insulin Dependent Diabetics who are TTC.
THANKS EVERYONE !
