Re: New Chatty Tread
Thanks guys for all your support.. I really did feel i was pregnant this time I guess I was just really surprised when af came at 11dpiui.. that means me including the doctor totally missed ovulation by a couple of days... so this brings me to my next question.. if i ovulate fine on my own how do we best time the trigger shot? my guess is that i have to trigger before i naturally ovulate on my own is that right? i knopw we just need to get this timing down to a science... also i have had 5 cycles with the same donor is it time to switch up donors? I really dont want to i really like the donor we chose.. any suggestions?

Re: New Chatty Tread
i switched donors after our first . i wanted someone with a confirmed pregnancy. does yours have a confirmed? also, is the count good? if it's not great, can you double up on vials? i know it's pricey, but it might help. i think my doc decided i was a late ovulater, so he did u/s and blood, saw a 17 or 18mm follie (i can't remember), high hormones, but low LH and triggered me that night then injected 35 hours later. it's so hard because there are so many factors that have to line up just right. i think i'm just lucky that i come from really fertile stock. all the women in my family get pregnant just by thinking about sex!
maybe it's time to switch it up a bit. i used cryobiology, inc, by the way, and there were lots of good options there. we had no trouble finding another compatible one for our second try.

Re: New Chatty Tread
yeah the donor has great numbers and he does have a confirmed pregnancy... yeah last cycle they did a sonogram at day 12 and my follicle was at 15mm so they had me trigger on day 14 thinking my follicle would be bigger around 20mm by then maybe that was a little late.. i have all these questions to ask when i see the doctor on friday.. i want this to work this time... see my family is fertile too everyone gets pregnant with the drop of a dime and here i am 6 months later.. go figure

Re: New Chatty Tread
starztt- I know what you are going through after 12 IUI's it seems like it will never happen, i really don't know how we stay so strong, but you are doing a great job! My doctor monitors me and i have an ultrasound about every 3 days when my follicle reaches the correct size ( usually 20mm) I get the trigger shot then 24 to 36 hours later We IUI. It's a pain going to the doctor that much but it will be worth it in the end. hang in there & know we are here for you...have you tried accupuncture? I don't know if it works but the time I did it I got pregnant so i am doing it again this cycle..at this point I'll try anything.
By the way i love all the pictures, it is nice to put a face to everyone, and I really like that it is all our wedding photos!
anyway things are going ok for me, i get like 14 needles a day in my body but what are you going to do.

Re: New Chatty Tread
I did acupuncture on 1 or 2 failed cy and did it for the successful ivf cy. The acupuncturist said that she could increase my lining (Never had a problem there for me it was an egg issue) get better eggs, and relax me (this is DID do). (some other stuff too, but I cant remember) My MIL suffered from migraines for over 30 years and then started acupuncture and has not had any. So I would recommend it for at least the relaxing part.
