New to this board

Hello,.

My name is Jodi. I am partner to Mary and we have been together for 5 years, married for 3.

We started our TTC journey in May of 02 and it took us to a miscarriage of twins in March of 03 at 8 weeks PG.

We started trying again in Sept 03 and got lucky and PG on the first try with Gonal f injections. We have a 13 month old baby girl named Gianna Rose and she is our entire world.

We tried 2 rounds recently for a sibling for Gianna with Follistim and had no luck thus far. I had a couple of left over follicles this cycle so I am on BCPS for 2 weeks and then I will go back to RE to see if they are gone. If so, I stop BCPs, wait a few days for AF and start on injections and hcg trigger again. SIGH. I feel blessed to have Gianna. I know some are still trying for #1. I just want her to grow older witha sibling in case we get old and frail I do not want her to have to worry about us by herself etc. My ins will cover 3 more tries so please wish us luck.

By the way, we are in Buffalo N.Y.

Hi Jodi and welcome to the board. I wish you all the luck and baby dust that you conceive quickly. DP and I are trying again after having an ectopic in 3/05. I look forward to getting to know you better.

I am fairly new to the board and welcome you both! I am doing my first round of AI starting on Monday, and I am super-excited, super-nervous, and super-scared all at once! LOL My partner and I have been planning for this for a year and a half, I can't believe that it is finally here! Please keep us in your prayers! Good luck with the AI.......for me, it was no big deal. super quick, and i didn't feel a thing! But enjoy it, it is all part of this process. I should try again next week, around thursday......so lots of babymaking happening next week.....good luck...
