Default need some hope

Hello,

Well My pergesterone test was negative, I did not ovulate this month so they are starting me on Provera. The RE also said I can not continue TTC until I see an endo DR for my Imparied glucose tolerence. ( this is something he didn't tell me) I thought we were going to try this month. Why the hell would I want a med to start my period if I wan't going to try? anyway it went from bad to worse, because there are only 2 endos. in my area and they couldn't see me until Oct. I got really upset and called DP she calmed me down and said we just have to do what we have to do, so I called back and got a different nurse, explained my story ( for the 900th time) she put me on hold for like 10 min and told me she had a soft heart for someone TTC that she herself had problems as well, so she squeezed me in next week!!! ( I couldn't help but wonder if she new I was a lesbian , would she have been so accomodating?) so I decided luck was on my side & everything happens for a reason. Sorry this is so long, you ladies are my sanity right now, I feel like I am going to have a nervous breakdown some days!

Shannon,

How frustrating! This just sucks! How painful and difficult this situation is!

The good news is you were able to get an appointment much sooner than you initially had thought. Hopefully this appointment will shed some light on things and put you back on the TTC path.

I'm thinking of you and wishing you strength. Just remember that baby waiting to be yours wants you to be a healthy momma! Hang in there.

Shannon- You poor thing. It's just one thing after another. It's so frustrating when you think something is going to work out one way and then another giant curve ball is thrown. I felt that way when I had to sit that month out and that was nothing compared to the struggles you are facing. Maybe the nurse squeezing you in is a sign of better things to come. I sure hope so. In the mean time, hang in there. We are all thinking of you!

stinks! I am sorry that things have been very frustrating for you. I had to sit out a couple cycles and it was a very tough time for me. I really think it's good to get all your health issues taken care of before you get pregnant, though. You want to be as healthy as possible so that your baby will also be very healthy.

It's wonderful that the nurse listened and fit you in next week. I also struggled to find an endocrinologist recently, so I know what you mean. They didn't seem to care that I am pregnant and having thyroid problems; they wanted me to wait until Oct to come in, too. I really hope that your TTC journey becomes less frustrating for you! It is such a trying process. I learned to have a lot more patience during my TTC journey. I also learned that I can't control everything I want to control. I think these are good lessons for a future mother. I started meditating when things got tough and it gave me a good perspective.

Shannon -

I'm so sorry you are going through all of this!!! TTC is nothing but anguish for so many people and it just doesn't always feel fair. You know that you are meant to be a mother. I don't think a few roadblocks will stop you.

Thank goodness for the big heart of that nurse! Who cares what she would do if she "knew!" She's commited to being sweet to you now. Hold her to it

We're here for you~ keep us posted.

Shannon- I'm sorry this keeps getting more complicated for you! I'm glad you were forceful and were able to get in to the doctor's office quicker.
