Default need help!

Hello,

My partner and I are trying home insemination with sperm from a sperm bank. Last month was our first attempt and I didn't get pregnant. My partner had a difficult time with the handling of the sperm. The vial was very small and all we could fit in it was a medicine dropper. Then, after inserting it, it poured back out. Any advice on how to make this work would be so very much appreciated!

Michelle

Thank you for responding. I have seen that website before. I guess one of the things we couldn't figure out was how to keep the sperm from coming out when my partner removes the syringe. If anyone has had this problem, please let me know how you handled it. Thanks!

I would go to a pharmacy and see if they have needless syringes. That might be your best bet. I used a 1ml syringe. It is small but it works!! Check that out!!

Good luck and keep posting!

We use a sryringe when my partner got prengant. We asked our ob/gyn for it. We found one that was long to get it "stuff" as for in as possible and then she layed still for a 1/2 hour or so with the syringe still in place . THis helped to not have the back flow problem. It may not be uncomfortable but since the "stuff" is costly it is hard to lose it

Good luck

Thanks for posting that question!! My DP and I just inseminated this last weekend and the same thing happend. Spermies in the butt crack!! We were using fresh sperm with a 1cc needless syringe. I took a poll on another website and 60% percent said that happens to them as well! So I guess it must be natural. We even tried leaving the syringe in for 20min, but some still decided to make it's way aroung the syringe ( I hope they were that determined to make it into my cervix!).

Good luck to you!!
