My latest update

Hello All!
Well I finally have an update to give no more sitting in limbo land for now.

I started my period this morning

so that means tomorrow morning I go in for some bloodwork and ultrasound and then saturday i go back to start stims for the IVF. I am so excited I could just cry....wish us luck!!!

Woohoo! Its great to finally hear that the balls are rolling again for you both!!

Don't mean to sound naive, but what is stims? Stimulation of hormones or something??

Yes, it is the part were they start to stimulate my little follicles. I went in today for a baseline ultrasound and they took 8 vials of blood from me. If all the bloodwork comes back ok then I will start my meds tomorrow morning.

Hi all--I have been posting in another forum but just found this one and am so happy! My name is Jen and my partner Daniella and I are in the 2ww. I am 12dpiui and AF is due tomorrow. We are on our 4th IUI. The first two we did with my natural cycle and the last two I have been on clomid. We went into it not thinking I had any fertility problem but we have come to find out I have low progesterone (luteal phase defect). it is controlled this cycle with progesterone pills. Anyway, we are FREAKING out since it is the last few days of waiting and I really feel like AF is going to show up any minute!!!

yea, it can be pretty dead most of the time. I check in, but mostly post on the IUI, and 35+ boards...everyone is really welcoming and supportive.

I post on a couple of other boards too. One is a str8 one, but very wonderful and supportive. Then there are a couple that I post on which are lesbian TTC/Baby boards. It's always good to have a venue to chat about what we're going through.
