Hi Ladies

My partner and I have be TTC for the couple of years. We have a know donor and we are mostly doing this on our own since my insure cover nothing. I am 41 year old my partner was able to get pregnant quickly and now we have a 9 year ild daughter. We have bee try with be for a while with out any sucess. My partner is 50 ys. old .

I finally have a question for you'll

This is day 25 of a normal 26 cycle. I was going to test tomarrow. I took 225iu follistim and 75 iu of repronex. And have been doing PIO since the home insimination.

I thought you couldn't start AF while on PIO? I am so confused. I thought this was the month

Are you full on bleeding or are you spotting?

I have never done PIO so I am not sure about weither you can start your period when on it or not. I would say you need to call your dr.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but I'm sure someone here will. Some of the ladies who are usually on this board are away for July 4th but I'm sure you'll get some answers in a soon. I agree with Patty, you should call your dr. to be safe.

Meredyth- Hi! Feel free to answer any questions that you like.

I've never done PIO either but plenty of progesterone with cycles. Yes, I believe you are correct the progesterone is supposed to keep your period away, but I have known lots of ladies who have still bled while on progesterone and

has started.

However, if you are just spotting it could be implantation bleeding. I would definitely call your doctor to get his/her opinion.

Well Ladies

I tested to day and got a Negative. I think we are going to take July off and give my body a rest. Maybe up the drugs for the next round. Since I am old we have only a few more shots at this.

Meredyth- I'm so sorry! BFN's stink! Big time.

Are you seeing an RE? If time is an issue b/c of your age, you might want to consider this (if you haven't already). I know you said money was an issue, but they may be able to give you your best options. I completely understand about the expense!!
