Suellen- I can't wait for you to hear that heartbeat. I know that it will just sound the sweetest music that you have ever heard.

Donna- I completely understand what you mean about the waiting game. It just feels like forever, but we will both get through it.

Well I am now 7 dpo and I don't feel pregnant at all. I am just so annoyed with this process at this point. At about 3 and 4 dpo I felt some cramping and a few sharp pains. I was having headaches and now nothing at all. No BB tenderness or anything. I am feeling a bit discouraged now so over the weekend I tried not to think about it at all. I kept myself busy for the most part. I went to the movies THREE times! I went to a going away party for one of DP's co-workers. I went to church and I even took the day off yesterday so that I could go to a parade and enjoy a day off with DP for MLK day. Now I am back to being my normal worrywart self. So, back to the waiting game. I am afraid to test on Friday so I will try to wait until my DR appt on Monday but I know that may not happen because I am obsessed with POAS.

I am thinking of going with an unknown donor. Did any of you guys use sperm banks and if so which ones?

Tahsa - We did. We used California Cryobank and they were wonderful and I highly recommend them.

It's funny you mentioned the whole POAS thing as I have been thinking the same thing. My blood test is scheduled for Tues but I also know because I did a trigger shot you want to wait 10 days to make sure it's out of your system. It is 9 days today...I am really trying to be optimistic but for some reason this 2ww is killing me more then usual.

Suellen- That's great news about the U/S. I'm glad everything is going well.

Starz- Good luck with the IUI. I hope you are enjoying your day off. I plan on doing the same thing on the day I inseminate.

Donna- I can't wait to find out how the transfer went. I hope you're on your way to a BFP!!

Sorry I went MIA but I wanted to take a break from any and all things relating to my fertility. My HSG was postponed on Friday because of some I had some discharge (sorry TMI) and so I had it yesterday. It went well and wasn't painful at all. It didn't even hurt as much as AF and both the nurse and the radiologist were really cool. It was actually kind of fascinating to see the dye move through my tubes, which the doc said were all clear and that I was boringly normal (the 2nd doc to say that). I went in for my U/S this morning and had two large follicles, one left and one right. I think I'll inseminate Thursday or Friday. The only weird thing that happened this weekend was I had two OPK's (different brands too) say I was surging on day#7. I also had other signs in my chart pointing to ovulation (mucous and libido) and thought I felt myself ovulate on day #8. My doc kind of poo pooed me when I told him. Do you think it's possible that I ovulate twice a month? I will definitely be tracking it to see if I am. It's really weird.
Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well.

Tasha - We used a bank in CA called Pacific Reporducitve Services. We were really happy with them. We used a "willing to be known" donor which means when the child is 18 he can contact the donor - if the donor has kept up with the clinic in terms of sending them any change of address stuff in the past 18 years.

Tasha & sado - I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

LD - Hey there! Great to know everything went so well w/ the HSG and you got the all clear. I have never heard of ovulating two times per month but nothing would surprise me! It is good they saw the two follicles still there, though Good luck with the IUI this week!

Laura - Thanks I need all the help I can get!

So for some reason when my wife came home I just started sobbing...I think this progersterone is making me a weepy mess. I am sooo not like this! Ugh!

Swell-how are things going for you.

Well I had iui #3 today around 4:45... our donor had 25 milllion sperm, 70%motility and at a grade 3.. So the donor is doing his part so we are just praying for it to take this month.. cant believe we are in another 2ww... we have done a few things different this month so our fingers are crossed...

Starz- Those are great numbers. Are you using frozen sperm or a known donor? If you're using frozen, do you mind telling me what bank you used. Good luck with IUI#3!!! Soon I will be with you in the TWW.

Donna- Well here's to waiting together(going crazy together) lol.

LD- I am so glad that your HSG went well, wish I had the same luck. They also haven't given my results yet so I am almost sure that something is wrong, but I will try not to drive myself nuts over it. Oh and I have definitely heard of ovulating twice a month; it's quite possible. I read it in The Essential Guide to Lesbian Conception book(not sure if the title is correct). It gave an example of a woman that surged on day 8 and day 15 and would always inseminate on day 15 because she didn't know that she had a surge on day 8 until later on. When she inseminated on day 8 she got pregnant. Hope that will work for you as well. I wish you loads of babydust

Thanks ladies for the sperm bank info. I have heard of both of those places before and have information on both. I will just have to decide which will work better for me. Ther is also Fairfax Cryobank, that one is closer to where I live but who knows.

Laura- Thank you for the well wishes, I need them BADLY

Tasha- I wouldn't worry about the HSG. There may not have been a Radiologist around to read your test and determine the results. If you're looking at sperm banks, check out Xytex. We are looking at getting a new donor and I love their site. They also have the best guarantee for sperm count. Plus, you can pay $150 and have access to all the long profiles and baby and adult pics! I'm praying for you and hope you get your BFP. BTW, I have that book and my partner just read me that story last night. I don't think it matters as my doctor told me he doesn't believe it's possible and he thinks I got a false positive. (not sure how I got two false positives with different brands). If I don't get my BFP this month, I'll test again next month and see what happens.

Donna- Progesterone sucks. I'm very emotional during every TWW and I think alot of it is related to the progesterone. I think my wife often wonders what the hell happened to hr butch. But if it helps a baby stick it will be well worth it! I'm sending babydust and stickydust your way!!!

Shannon- That's a crazy amount of follicles!!! I think we will be inseminating really close to each other. I hope we both get lucky this month!!!

Babydust and stickydust to all!

The sooner you get here, the sooner we can start again!

Omigosh! I was gone for like 2 days and it was chat central here!!!! I'm going to have to work hard to keep up. Here goes....

Amigone - Seriously! Don't you hate it when your body screws with you? I so hope AF is right around the corner for you so that you can get on with already!!!!!

Starz - Good luck in your 2ww. It does seem that the 2 weeks before insemination go by much fast then the two after! I so hope this is it for you!

LD - I don't know much about ovulating twice in one cycle, but I do know that the time I had a positive opk before I was "supposed" to, my doctor brought me in right away, gave me my trigger and away we went. She said she really believes the opk's. Who knows though? Glad your HSG went well. I thought it was kind of neat to watch too.

Tasha - We also used California Cryo and were pleased. Don't feel bad about not having symptoms. I didn' t really have any and I still don't feel pregnant. I don't have sore bb's, I'm not nauseous - just really tired - and I didn't get that until just a couple weeks ago. Sometimes no symptoms are good!

Donna - Fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoping to hear good news soon!

As for me, I'm doing pretty well. The PIO shots aren't as bad as people made them out to be. Most of the time I can barely tell that DP has the needle in. (Maybe I'm just well padded! ) As I said to Tasha, I don't really have symptoms except for being really tired (and, really, who doesn't want an excuse to take a nap everyday?) We get to see the bean again on Tuesday! Yea!!!!!

Phew! Hope I didn't screw that up and make the comments to the wrong people!

Well, AF is here *yay!* but she brought a knife, and is trying to work her way out through my abdomen. *stabitty stab* I asked my roommate who has two kids if she'd just bear kids for me, and I could get the damn thing out, but she said no. So, I suffer.

Here's hoping this is the last one for 9 months!
