Default Re: Hello!

Leigh- I am sorry to hear that it is not going to work this month. I know how very disappointed it is. When I was taking Clomid I had to stop for one month because I had a cyst on my ovary from the medication. It was awful to know that I was waisting a month or more but in the end it was good because I rested that month. Just think that July is only a week away and soon enough you will be able to start again.

Stacy & Amber- My partner keeps telling me that it only takes one of those spermies to get to the egg so lets hope that one of them got to yours, even if the AI was once. I wish you lots of baby dust. The two week wait is very stressful. I am always trying to think of what is causing any twinges or pains and hoping not to start AF.

Sue- I am really sorry to hear about you and your donor. I am not sure what to say to make you feel better but just know that we are all here if you need us.

theluvof2moms- I am glad that you are back.

I was suppose to get a HCG shot to release my egg on Tuesday but when I woke up and took an ovulation test it came back positive. I took two more just to make sure and they were positive. So we did our first home insemination in the evening on Tuesday and I go back to the Dr's today for the IUI. So my 2ww will start this week.

Kristine, welcome back. You were definitely missed. Hope all is going well with you.

Veronica, congratulations on getting to start the inseminations. The next two weeks will be just awful. I am trying not to analyze everything and look for symptoms, but I can't seem to help myself. When I got pg last time, I actually was really calm during the 2ww and didn't pay attention to the signs. They were all there, especially looking back, but for some reason I wasn't analyzing it. I remember saying the week before I tested + "Honey, my boobs are HUGE!" But, I just didn't put it all together. I don't know how I lucked out in not stressing that cycle. Maybe that's what did the trick. Have to remember that next 2ww.

Wishing Baby Dust to everyong!!

Sending baby dust your way Veronica!

Leigh- I am sorry to hear you have to take a month off. I know how hard that can be. But I hope the time flies by for you and you are able to relax during that time.

snv515-How did your IUI go? I hope it all went well?

Stacy and Amber- I think you have the 2WW secret down. Not to obsess. Now if we could all take a little piece of that.

Well I have finally started POAS for my ovulation....one morning I woke up and the monitor said to start peeing, I was dancing all over the house. I can't wait. The I got a copy of this months Washingtonian and my Doctor was listed as one of the top fertility doctors in the DC Metro area and his picture was on the front page. I was so excited. I just knew it was a sign or something. I should be inseming sometime this week or weekend. I am CD12 so its anytime now. Then I can relax. Me and DP have decided we are not going to POAS to find out postive or negative. We will just get the beta done and find out that way. (wish us luck on discipline) hehe

I think its great we will all be going through some part of the 2WW together.
Good Luck to all!

My IUI went well, except there were only 5 million sperm and there was suppose to be a minimum of 10 million but Shundra tells me I only need one to do the trick. My blood test appointment is on July 15th so I have 15 days starting tomorrow.

Wishing baby dust to everybody.

Veronica,
I have heard people say they ask the banks for a refund if its under 8 million or something like that. It wouldn't hurt to give a call.
Shundra is right though it only takes one!

Good Luck! Keep us posted!

Baby Dust!!!Baby Dust!!! Baby Dust!!!
