Hi, my wife and I have been lurking here for awhile, but we are finally about a week away from TTC. So we thought that we would introduce ourselves, since we may be needing some advice and support.

Whats your name and whats your partners name? Jacqui and Sharon (will carry)

How long have you been together? Are you "married"? We have been together almost 8 years, and were legally married in MA last year.

Where do you live? Massachusetts

What do you and your DP do? Jacqui is a reasearch assistant in a lab, and Sharon is a teacher.

How long have you been TTCing? Just about to start trying

Have you always wanted children? We've both always known we wanted children.

How many do you want? What sex? We would both like 3 or 4 children, and would like at least one boy and one girl

Do you have names already picked? What are they? We periodically write and re-write our names list. At the top right now are Benjamin for a boy and Josephine Rose for a girl.

Tell us about your favorite vacation. We are both a little obsessed with Walt Disney World, and try to go almost every year. But one of our new favorite things is camping.

How long have you been together? Are you "married"?
Yes, we had a handfasting ceremony on August 6, 2006.

Where do you live?
Calgary, AB Canada

What do you and your DP do?
I'm a nursing attendant on a busy Gynecologic Oncology/Surgery unit, and the wifey is on permanent disability, but she helps the roommate with her two kids

How long have you been TTCing?
5 cycles.

Have you always wanted children?
Absolutely.

How many do you want? What sex?
I want to have at least two kids, maybe three. Once I'm an RN we can afford to have more than one. I really want a little girl, as my roommate has two little boys, and I was raised with a sister.

Do you have names already picked? What are they? I like Meredith Velma Joann for a girl, (My grandma's name was edith, the other was velma, and my wife's mom was Joann), and Eliott John for a boy, as Eliott was the name of the doctor that saved my wife's life at her birth, and John is my father's middle name, as well as my wife's deceased father's name.

Tell us about your favorite vacation.
We're about to go! March first we leave the frozen wasteland that is Canada, and are going on a Caribbean cruise to Jamaica, Grand Cayman Islands, and Mexico! Our belated honeymoon is 18 months late, but better than none.

Chandra- I think Julie and I have taken that exact cruise! It was GREAT! We love to cruise. It is great causeyou dont have to think of anything. You can do ALOT of stuff or nothing and still have a great time!

My name is Reece and my partners name is Alexandra (she goes by Alex)

How long have you been together? Are you "married"?

We have been together for almost 8 yrs. and are not married. We would like to someday but it's not at the top of our list of priorities.

Where do you live?

We live in a suburb outside of Philadelphia. It takes us about 30 - 45 minutes to get in the city.

What do you and your DP do?

We are both professional IT geeks! She works as a Business Analyst for a consulting company. I am a Network Admin for a Bio - Pharmaceutical company.

How long have you been TTCing?

We aren't trying just yet. We are learning as much as we can right now and hoping to start trying in the next year or so. We are waiting until I finish school so we are both ready.

Have you always wanted children?

I have a 16 yr. old daughter that I had at a young age and have always wanted more. Alex wasn't interested when we first got together but now that we are in our 30's she got bit by the baby bug.

How many do you want? What sex?

We would be happy with one more but also discussed 2. We'll see how the first one goes! lol I wanted a boy since I already have a daughter but would be blessed with either sex.

Do you have names already picked? What are they?

We go back and forth with names - we haven't narrowed it down just yet.

Tell us about your favorite vacation.

Our favorite vacation would be Aruba. It was so relaxing and so beautiful - we went there for our 5 year anniversary.

Hello everyone! I'm new to the site, and I figured now is as good a time as any to jump in and introduce myself...

How long have you been together? Are you "married"?
My partner JC and I have been together for 5 years come May. Not legally married, but we do consider ourselves married anyway.

Where do you live?
Queens, NYC

What do you and your DP do?
We both work for the same company, a residential and commercial real estate corporation. I work with the tenants, and she does bookkeeping. We didn't meet there, she got me the job there after we were together a few years.

How long have you been TTCing?
We haven't officially started our first try yet, we are planning to in 3 months. We have been planning these for a couple of years now and feel like we are finally ready to begin.

Have you always wanted children?
Yes, always. My partner already has a grown daughter who just gave birth to a baby girl 3 months ago. At 42, she is a very young grandmother!

How many do you want? What sex?
Ideally, I would like two. A boy and a girl. JC wants four. Who knows how many we will end up with, but as long as we have at least one baby I'm satisfied.

Do you have names already picked? What are they?
We do have the names picked out. For a boy--Dylan Jacob. For a girl--Emma Rose (after JC's mother).

Tell us about your favorite vacation.
A college trip to Puerto Rico with 10 other classmates. The island is AMAZING, and I can't wait to go back!

we have known each other for about 4 years, been together for almost two years, and married (new jersey on 7/7/07) for almost one year

i'm a public accountant and she is a high school teacher

How long have you been TTCing?

well, we haven't started physically "trying" yet. we have been talking about children for the past two years, however, we plan on actually attempting in may/june. we both plan on ttc together.

Have you always wanted children?

yes, we both have.

How many do you want? What sex?

2. a boy and a girl. if we have two boys, liberty said she would want to try again for a girl. if we have two girls, i think i would want to try again for a boy.

Do you have names already picked? What are they?

we have talked about names, but nothing offically yet. i believe those things will come to you either during the pregnancy or during delivery. a name is a very powerful thing and something not to be taken lightly. when my mom had me, my name came to her in the delivery room. just feel out her mouth. when my mom had my little brother, i had a dream about him being born and his name. i told my mother about it, and she named him the name i dreamed and said that she had dreamed the same.

Tell us about your favorite vacation.

this past christmas, we went on a cruise to central america for our honeymoon. this was our first "real" vacation together, so it has to be a favorite i guess.

How long have you been together? Are you "married"? Almost 2 years together. Have not "married", but have exchanged rings.

Where do you live? Good old Indiana. Ha.

What do you and your DP do? I currently work at a bank, but will be Stay at home once children start rolling out. She is an engineer at a company that makes caskets.

How long have you been TTCing? About a year.

Have you always wanted children? Since I was a tiny, tiny thing. The first thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up was a Mom.

How many do you want? What sex? Well, I would like a litter of children But the wife and I have decided on 2-3. We would of course like a boy and girl. Multiples if possible. Any healthy happy babies will be okay with us.

Do you have names already picked? What are they? I had a dream telling my our first son's name MUST be Samuel. So Samuel Dalton for a little boy, and possibly Avery Kay for a little lady.

Tell us about your favorite vacation. DP took me to Vegas for my 21st. AMAZING!!! Been a bit of a poker addict ever since.
