Well, it is not good news. Out of the 19 they retrieved, only 12 were mature. Out of the 12 that were mature, only FOUR fertilized. Will know more tomorrow, but more than likely no PGD unless they look BEAUTIFUL tomorrow. I am leaning towards no PGD regardless, you usually loss some in the process. If I still have four left on day three, they are going to probably transfer all of them. When they say this, you know that it is not good news. I am going to try to be positive. I think that I am going to go buy a Nintendo Wii (if I can find one) and get off this damn computer.

Uggh! I'm sorry it wasn't better news. Did they do ICSI to fertilize?

I've said this before but this is the MOST difficult part of the whole IVF process at least for me. Waiting to see how many fertilize and wondering how many would be left the next day.

I'm so sorry. If you need someone to talk to, I'm here. I definitely understand cycles that didn't turn out the way you expected. Unfortunately, of my 5 that fertilized none made it past day 2.

But I'm thinking positive thoughts for your 4 little guys! I know this is overstated- but it does only take 1.
