Re: Chatty thread
Yeah Suellen don't give up hope!! When I got pregnant with my son I would have sworn AF was on the way but then nothing! I have fingers crossed for you!
So I am geared up for tomorrow! I have located my favorite Super Grover t-shirt! I am a total kid sometimes!

Re: Chatty thread
Donna - I LOVE that you have a Super Grover t-shirt! I used to love him! I actually remember my dad laying on the ground, putting our bellies on his feet and letting us "fly" like Super Grover! I hope it brings you tons of good luck!

Re: Chatty thread
Yeah I have lots of corney t-shirts that I love!! I hope things are well with you! So I am here to join you in the madness! My IUI this a.m. went well. A bit more cramping than usual but that happens sometimes. The waiting now is the part I hate! Of course my wife has to work all weekend so it will drag but I am hoping it wont be too bad.

Re: Chatty thread
Donna - Glad your IUI went well. (Sorry about the cramping!) The waiting is definitely the worst part. I'm hanging in there - feeling pretty down in the dumps about these cramps, but just hoping and praying that it will end in a BFP. This cycle has been really hard on me emotionally for some reason.
Anyway, welcome to the madness of the 2ww. Good luck!

Re: Chatty thread
Suellen - Yeah I find sometimes some cycles are more stressful than others but I think it depends on what is going on in my "normal" life. Just "try" and keep yourself as busy as possible...you are doing great!
Although I will say the trigger shot turns me into a raving lunatic for like 5 days! I actually asked the nurse yesterday about it and she said it happens to a lot of women. My wife loves it though as I dont stand up for myself very much and I tend to be so happy-go-lucky it can be a fault so she thinks its great because I will chew anyone out at this point. It's like I have no patience and that is so not me! It should be interesting tomorrow as I teach Sunday School 4yrs to 1st grade and you need to have a ton of patience with them!

Re: Chatty thread
Donna - Good luck with your kiddos this morning. I know how challenging kids can be. Sometimes I have more patience with the little ones because they are cute. The bigger ones I often think should know better and have less patience with.
Anyway, I started spotting early this morning (3am or so). I had a complete breakdown, woke DP up and pretty much just sobbed for a half hour or so. I'm so frustrated because today is only 11dpiui. That should be too early for AF, but sometimes I think my LP is way out of wack. I guess we'll just have to see if this develops into full out AF. (I have a feeling it will.) I'm pretty discouraged right now. I kind of feel like "why should I keep trying? What's going to be different this time?"
Thanks for a place to vent.

Re: Chatty thread
Suellen - Don't give up hope yet! I know it's easier said than done. It took 7 IUI's for me to get pregnant w/ my son so I can tell you from experience not to give up hope. My dr told me everything can be completely right i.e. timing etc and sometimes it just doesnt happen. I have total faith this can come out positive in the end. Dont be upset about freaking out as it is completely warranted and is very healthy to release those emotions. Keep your chin up I know you will get through this!!
You can always vent here!!

Re: Chatty thread
Donna - thanks for the encouragement. It makes me feel better that you got pregnant after 7 iui's. It seems like most of the women I have met here either got pregnant relatively quickly with iui (3 or 4 tries) or they REALLY struggled and had to move on to IVF - which really scares me. I don't think I can afford that and DP has some issues surrounding it, so I'm not sure if that would ever even be an option for us.
So, again, thanks! Hope you are surviving your 2ww. I don't know what's worse - the first part- when your answer seems so far away or the 2nd part - when you will find out very soon, but just not quite yet! ARGH!

Re: Chatty thread
Suellen - I would feel the same way cycle after cycle people were getting pregnant and I swear it was like 2 or 3 times and I was sure I was doing something wrong! I know a lot of straight couples that took months and months too so I guess everyone is different.
I think you hit the nail on the head about the 2ww. It is so true as I agree I dont know what is worse! Heck I am at 2dpo and already going crazy!

Re: Chatty thread
Well, I'm officially out. AF showed this morning. It's 12 dpiui. Is my LP too short? I guess I'll talk to the doctor about it. We have a consultation Wednesday - who knows where we will go from here. I'm pretty sad this time, especially since I don't know what the next plan is and since I feel like we are running out of money.
Donna - Hope your 2ww is going well and that you are keeping busy.

Re: Chatty thread
Suellen - I am so sorry!!! Lots of coming your way! The same exact thing happened to me last cycle 12dpiui. You know it wouldnt hurt to talk to the dr about it. Hopefully the dr can help you with a plan of action. I dont know what would be covered but at the very least maybe your insurance would cover bloodwork to see if anything is off. It can be so hard I know. I actually took money from my IRA to help with costs before.
Know I am thinking of you!

Re: Chatty thread
HELP!!!!!!!!!!
The bleeding I had today started off today fairly regularly - a little slow, but then I got excruciating cramps (made me dizzy, naseous and light headed) then the bleeding slowed. (I'm still bleeding, but it's still pretty light.) It wasn't my normal bleeding (and with a lining of 18 - I thought I would be doing some heavy bleeding). So, just to convince myself that it was truly over this cycle, I POAS. (at like 6:45 at night - having just peed an hour or so ago) THERE IS A SUPER FAINT LINE!!!!!!!!!! What does this mean? Could I still be pregnant? Was I pregnant and then something happened and now the hcg is leaving my system?????????? ARGH!!!!!!! I'm so confused. I guess I will just POAS in the morning.
Yikes!

Re: Chatty thread
Yes, I had a trigger, but I am 13 days past the trigger, so it should be gone, but I suppose there is the potential that it is still there.
It was moderate/light flow for a few hours, now it is more like the very last day of your period....kinda spotty, kinda there. (Not really running out of my body anymore....TMI - sorry)
I'm so freaked out that I'm getting my hopes up for nothing. I'll POAS in the morning.......

Re: Chatty thread
Call the doctor, lay down (pelvic rest is important), and I would POAS again in the morning. Also- I think the doctor should have you come in for a beta ASAP!!!
I definitely think the trigger is WAY gone!
I'm thinking positive thoughts for you!!!! I think this could definitely be a good sign!!!

Re: Chatty thread
Suellen - I was curious if you did the trigger shot because you mentioned hcg in your system. I know my dr says it's usually gone by about 5 days or so. I agree a beta would would be a good idea & definitely POAS in the a.m. I am SO happy for you!

Re: Chatty thread
Ladies,
I'm thinking this is a chemical pregnancy I haven't been to the doctor yet. (I will call the second they open), but my bleeding became heavier/closer to normal overnight. That can't be good.
The hpt this morning was darker than yesterday, but that could also be because it was FMU.
I'm pretty screwed up right now. I'll update after I go to the dr.
