Best Friend Died today

As some of you may remember, a very close friend of mine had breast cancer. She died today. I feel heartbroken and because of the IVF craziness may not be able to attend her funeral (she lives 3.5 hours away). I'm trying to keep my stress levels low, but it's not easy at this point.

Oh, A! I'm so sorry. I know she hadn't been doing so well, but I'm so sorry to hear this.

I know it must be hard to think positively about the cycle when your mind is on this. I hope it works out that you are able to attend her funeral.

My thoughts are with you.

Thanks Carrie. It is hard to stay positive/stress free for my cycle! Maybe it would help is I wasn't so nauseated all day long. Maybe I will be ready to be under anesthetic tomorrow! Get a nice little sleep in....

Yes, she wouldn't let me visit. I'm doing well, considering. It's been a tough couple of days, though.

I am so sorry to hear about your friend. I can imagine how difficult that must be. Even if it is expected, it is never easy to lose someone you love. My best friend was diagnosed with breast cancer, stage 2 almost 3, about 2 years ago. It is hard to see someone you care about struggle with something like that.

I know that words can only be so comforting but you and your friend's family and friends are in my thoughts.
