Default Anyone in the 2WW?

Hi to all -
It's so good to have a place like this to go to to vent and talk to others on this journey. I just had my 5th IUI this morning....now the 2WW. I have been really frustrated & bummed out about this whole process. I didn't realize it was going to be so emotionally draining and all consuming! I have a really, REALLY good feeling about this time - but, who knows? It's so hard to walk that line of not being too optimistic and not being negative.
How are you all coping???

I'm not currently in the 2WW but I wanted to say Good Luck!

Don't worry you are not alone as far feeling like life is one big emotional roller coaster. I think most of the girls here have been going at this for a fairly long time now and have had many ups and downs. I have been doing this for just about 13 months now. My DP and I decided to take a little break for the next two months it was just getting to be very emotionally and physically draining. So we will start back up in May.

My one suggestion to you is make sure you take time out for you and your DP, like plan a date night or bring each other flowers just something so you feel special again.

Are you on any fertility drugs or anything yet?

Good Luck and I hope this cycle is your month for a BFP!

Welcome Laura. I'm glad you found us. It's very true it's nice to have a place to find support and encouragement. This is not an easy process for many of us.

I am currrently in the 2ww. I am 3dpo. We started this process in 11/04. Got lucky on the 3rd month only for it to be an ectopic pregnancy. We started again in 7/05 with a break in November. Hoping beyond hope that this month works. We are doing it at home with a known donor.

I hope this is it for you this month. It's about time we get another string of BFPs.

Thanks to you both for the encouragement.
Kristine - I am taking 100 mg clomid (bumped up from 50 last month). My DP and I decided to take next month off for several reasons...picking a new donor (ours is no longer availible), vacation and just for the emotional break. I love the idea of doing a date night or just something special!
Stacy - BEST of luck to you this month! I'm a little jealous that you are doing the home known donor method. Everyone has been telling us "Fresh is best"!

Laura,
Right on for taking a month off next month if it doesn't work this time. We have been discussing that possibility as well. Only we will take 2 months since we are going on vacation ovulation weekend in April. But we are going to Disneyland, so if it doesn't work this time, we figure it's best to take off the month before vacation as well so I won't be pg at the Happiest Place on Earth!! But if this time works, I will be more than willing to be pg during vacation.

Yes, they say "Fresh is Best", but don't discount the frozen method via IUI as it has worked for many. And I just know it's going to work for you. Again, lots of baby dust to you.
