Re: any advice...frustrated

I'm sorry things aren't feeling good. Advice is a hard thing to offer because you know your situation better than anyone else. I'll give it a try, but, please ignore anything that doesn't sound right.
If they are closed on Sundays, can you do an at home IUI? (We've never done this, but, I know people who have.) Btw, I think it's a bad sign for a doctor/clinic that specializes in fertility to be closed every seventh day. We get different techs on the weekend and they have a skeleton staff, but, they do everything everyday (except for two 3-day times a year when they close everything down to micro-clean, but, they don't let people start drug cycles if there's a chance they could trigger in that window--we get annoyed when we hit it, but, I'm glad they are so clear with us).
I'm sorry that you live in such a difficult place (from a political perspective). I read an article this summer about someone who had taken a fertility clinic to court for refusing to provide services because she was a lesbian. (I think she was in CA.) My understanding was that her case was making it to the supreme court. Does anyone know anything about this? I think the lower court findings were that it was a violation of her constitutional rights for them to have refused her.
We moved on to IVF because the stats on super-ov aren't really as good as people'd like to believe. A lot of clinics (like ours) will do IVF with people from out of town. You go for initial appointments, get drugs and teaching, they give you orders for bloodwork and U/S near home and when you reach a certain point you have to come stay close (usually for about 2 weeks). It would add to the cost (a lot!), but, would mean that you could choose a clinic where you don't feel like a number and where they accepted lesbian couples as normal.
Sorry, this was long and likely not terribly helpful. But, please know that you are in my thoughts and I'll have my fingers crossed for success.
Oh--one more idea. Are they giving you ovidrel or HcG? If you took ovidrel tonight then the follicle should pop at the right time for a Sat IUI (you can even take it tomorrow morning with reasonable success). I was ovulating successfully on my own, but, they gave me ovidrel in order to sync the timing better and improve the chances of success.
