Hello all. Thought I'd start a new thread on the 2ww as we all seem to be here.

I swear I'm psychosomatic- this morning I woke with terrible cramps (day 10) and I have convinced myself it must be implantation day. I even went online to an ovulation predictor site that shows you, approximately, when you should have implantation. It actually said tomorrow, but I'm a day early because we used a trigger shot injection for our ovulation activation this month. I have scoured the internet for any site that says a woman can "feel" implantation- every site says something different. I used to think I could feel ovulation but it turned out I had a cyst on my left ovary and I was probably feeling that. Can anyone else say they have "felt" ovulation or implantation?

My partner and I feel like "sitting ducks". This is our fourth cycle and, yet, it should have a better chance than the previous ones. For one, we used Clomid and had three good eggs( 21, 19, 17), one a little small (14); we used a trigger shot and I'm taking prometrium. We have to wait until Aug third for a blood test even though I desperately want to take an at home test. Evidently the HCG in the trigger shot will throw the at home test off?

Can I ask, how many of you already have children with your DPs? How many of you have been successful? Some inspiration would be wonderful...

Hi there and good luck.

I have a beautiful 13 month old girl with my DP. We used Gonal f and HCG trigger. We will beginning round three of TTC this month for a sibling for her.

I tested myself at 8dpo to see if the hcg was still in my system. I tested very early morning with a sensitive test and it was gone. Eeveryone is different and it also depends on your dose too.

Britt,
The 2ww is grueling. I know I have been having what I'm sure are psychosematic symptoms myself. I am now trying to be reasonable and assure myself that these are all in my head so that I will not be disappointed when AF actually shows. The only thing I am having trouble rationalizing is the possibility of implantation showing up on my chart. On 6 DPO there is a definite dip in my temperature and then on 7 & 9 DPO I have had some spotting. I am also trying to remember in my head that that does not guarantee that I could be pregnant. So today being 10 DPO, I would love to test, but I will be a good girl and wait an see if AF actually shows or not before I test.

Oops, I accidentally hit something to post that reply and I wasn't quite finished.
I was going to tell you that I do sometimes feel ovulation pains. I don't know about feeling implantation. Being that you had the hcg trigger shot, you probably don't want to use an HPT and get a confusing result if there is still some hcg in your system. I definitely feel for you during this time. It is absolutely crazy. I have not been this crazed about ttc since I started trying as I am this time. Let's just really hope it's for good reason and will end with a sticky BFP. Good Luck to you.

You know, I don't think I have ever felt any ovulation pains but at the same time I don't think I have ever paid so much attention to my body before all this.

I really try to ignore anything my body does during the 2WW because I can trace anything back to being a possible pregnancy sign. Its hard but I just have to do it and lucky my DP is more sensible then me and tells me to just STOP IT!! hehe

I also don't test early, its just to much for me...I think as much as I don't like the suspense I really do like it. (I know that can't be normal)

We'll good luck and don't be so hard on yourself everything will happend at the right time for us all.

We have a 6 year old daughter that we conceived first try with donor sperm..now we are at cycle 31 trying to give her a brother or a sister..
I took clomid the last 2 months last month days 5-9 and this month 3-7..
I felt O pains..they usually start 2-3 days before O..
I am 3 DPO now..
I hate the 2ww!

Ugghhh. It's the last day- the ugliest. I need something to keep my mind off my body and its actions...because it's day 14 and I usually get my period on day 12. I'm crazy. My partner's crazy. The difference is, she can go jogging and have a beer or two. I can't.

Blood test tomorrow morning at 715. Results by 4. I'll keep you all posted.

Oh Britt, I am so nervous for you right now. I hope AF stays away and you get the best news ever tomorrow. I will be anxiously awaiting to hear what happens. As for me, I'm out this time. AF showed up today. On to the next cycle.
