Poop is a 4 letter word!
Since infancy, DD has had NO problem with being messy in the britches. After some horrendous diaper rashes, we finally set a timer for diaper changes. She would not cry when her diaper needed attention...ever. Thanks in large part to her daycare's experience, and the example set by the other kids, she peepees in the potty regularly, with few accidents. (all bets are off if a pull up is on, though)
But she will not poop in the potty. She has been promised everything that she desires if she will just go in the potty for 3 days straight. She used to be distressed at the sight of poop in her panties, but now she calmly dumps her own poop in the potty, and we only know until she asks for new panties.
Her pooping times are not consistent, so the idea of anticipating poop times is not working. She knows that mommy poops in the potty, and even insists on seeing the end product (she congratulates me, lol). I am an only child, and am totally cluless on other methods.
Sigh, she is a champ about the peepee, though... Got ideas?
