I have a 4 year old son that I have been trying to potty train for 2 years without success. The doctor can't find anything wrong and can't seem to give me any ideas.

I believe the problem may be associated with my husband's death 2 years ago. I know this is a long time for a young child, but at that time, he also stopped talking. He has been in speach therapy for a little over 1 1/2 years, with much improvement.

Now, I'm at my wits end to get him potty trained. He will not be allowed to start K4 next year, unless he is out of diapers. Besides that, I'm tired of changing diapers and spending the money for them.

I have tried every thing I can think of, please help.
