So we thought we try to start the New Year by trying to potty train Emma (she's 2 years 5 mos) but she seems to have no interest in going. Any time I ask her to go and try she says no thanks.
Does this mean she's not ready?
She is never bothered by having a sagging soaking wet or dirty diaper. Do the "feel and learn" diapers or the "cool when wet" diapers work?

If she is not bothered by it I would say to wait a few months. My son is *finally* going on the potty and he will be 4 in March. But last week, he could care less when he was wet or stinky. We just had to hold back. Finally on Tuesday night he started on his own. She is a tad on the young side. Not unheard of but still a little young. Try again a little later.

pullups IMO do not work my son wears them tobed just because he won't wear a diaper and i hate cleaning up pee sheets in the mornings. your daughter may not be ready but have you tried putting her in the gerber padded underwear and plastic covers? My son didn't mind the saggy diapers but HATES his underwear being wet it is a bit more work at first (just the washing/rinseing) when they don't understand they can't go in their pants but that is what pushed my son over the edge on wanting to go potty
