Heather, I've heard that that's the only successful way to easily train a child when potty-training. Our Pediatrician said that the pull-ups and easy-ups are just like diapers without the tabs on them. I'm not sure that I yet want to force DD1 to potty-train yet (though we're in the process, it isn't something that's dead set in concrete, though it might help if it was!), but we are doing really well, I am really considering switching to the regular cloth panties, and seeing how that goes. Though once I switch I really can't go back, because it would cause regression. She really likes all the panties we've bought for her, they have Disney Princess' on them, Dora the Explorer, Blues Clues, Pooh, then just the regular hanes her way pretty soft colored ones! Goodluck to all of you!

Brandon was doing good kindof a few months ago and then stopped and has recently started back up and just started going in and he would go potty every time. One day he went twice and that was the first time for that He still wears his diapers 24/7 I know that he's not ready for his Gerber training underwear just yet. Giving him some more time. The other day I had forgotten to clean out the pee from earlier (I know bad mommy LOL) So he was naked and I said okay no just wait a min so I can dump this out and he stood there and I was thinking that if he really had to go that he would just have gone right there on the bathroom floor but he didn't he waited for me and then once he sat back down he immediately went and if he know's how to hold it like that then he's learning how to control it and that's a very good sign!!! IMO he's been alot easier to train than Ashton, and I think that my main problem with her was that I went straight from diapers to pullups First time mom syndrome lol I won't do that with him.

It's not going My son still has very, very little interest in the potty. He's pooped on it twice, both times intiated by him and then hasn't had any interest after that. Hopefully he'll have a bit of interest by September so he can go to preschool.
