My sister's son is going to be 5 in Dec. and refuses to potty train. He is very stubborn and wants nothing to do with it. He does not like change. Any advice for her ?? He won't even sit on the potty.

Is she pressuring him? Do people constantly say things around him concerning the potty training? I haven't had the experience you speak of, but I have heard people say that when they finally stopped talking about it or saying anything much to the child concerning potty training, the child decided to start going on his/her own.
