Icon3 HELP.....HE's 5!!!!!!

I know this might sound a little strange but me and my husband have a situation with our 5yr old son. We have been struggling with getting him to go constantly #2 in the potty. He will do it at times but not constantly.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. My husband and I have really no other alternatives as to what to do we have tried the honor system, and the taking away of toys but nothing seems to work.

Thank You.

any chance a grandparent told him a 'scary story' about how the toilet needs to eat his poop?
Does he strain alot when he has to go #2 ?

Any new move ?

That we know of no grandparents have told him any scary stories of the potty eating is poop.
No he doesn't strain to go potty.

Yes we moved recently, but this has been going on even before we moved. It has been something that has been going on for about 2yrs now. And he will go on the potty when he is in time out. Of course if we catch him in time trying to do it on himself then we can get him to go.

Thanks.
