I was supposed to have a referral put in a week ago. Well I called yesterday to see if it was there yet and Tricare had no knowledge of it. So I call my PCM and she just put it in yesterday! OMG!! My DH leaves in about a month and we wanted to get in and see what was going to happen before he left so we could make a decision on if we wanted to go on with treatments or take another route. My question is since I know it is in now can I make the appointment just so we know we will get in before he leaves??

I would say no until you get that magic letter in the mail stating its approved or speak to someone from tricare saying its fine for you to do so I would not go ahead with an appt.

yeah I called dr at clinic and it was $196 so we will wait for ref. that was just an office visit
