First of all, I'm not really a military wife. DH was in the AF for 6 years, but now he is a contractor for the AF. So, while he is a civilian, he will still be deploying with the military.

We decided this month to ttc. I had my IUD taken out last monday, and I O'd 2 days later. I am now on cd5. Well, on wednesday, DH came home to tell me he is deploying on the 2nd. So, if I did fall pg (testing on the 25th, our 7th anniversary), he won't be around during all the ickyness. He then proceeded to tell me that after he gets home 4 months later, he will leave again at the end of October. Which means he will miss the birth (agian, if I am indeed pg). That really bums me out. But, at the same time, I am so excited about possibly being pg!!

we just finished a deployment we started TTC the day he got back lol. this is our 7th cycle. Im sorry to hear your Dh has to deploy and that he will most likely be gone for the birth. But you are a strong woman and you can make it though this. were all hear to heap support you and your journey. Hugs

Thanks Julie (is that your name or is that where you get blinkies from?) I really feel that I will be okay. I have a lot of friends here. We still live near the AFB, and DH is in the National Guard part time, so I still have access to visit friends. Plus, I plan on going on a big road trip to visit a bunch of family.

Ya im julie Dh is USMC were stationed in NC but we will most likely will be getting out of the military in October. Dh has decided its time for him to move on. IT will be a big adjustment for us we spent the last five years being a military family so its going to take some adjusting back to civilian life. the road trip sound fun i took one two months after Dh deployed i went on it with my mom and dad and we drive all the way back to CA to visite my brother and grandparents and aunt and uncle. it was alot of fun and it helped to take my mind of the deployment. Hopefully well get our BFP Soon. im glad that you joined us hear at the TTC military board.

Julie, are you at Cherry Point? One of my good friends lives there. We went to visit her in Oct. Her stepson is also in the Marines and stationed in Jacksonville (I think) and we got to go do a tour of the Osprey and watch them take off. Really neat experience!

I meant to say sorry your dh is deploying. My dh just got back from a year long tour in Korea and is going back to Iraq for another year in Aug. We'll get through it together!

Kelly were in jacksonville iv never got to go up cherry point id like to go though. Dh will be getting out in Oct we cecided its time to move on to something else i still plan on sticking around hear im still attached to the military im verry pateriotic. im attached to ya all lol
