Hi,

Lately I've started to wonder if my DD has a milk allergy. She has a nasty diaper rash that we just can't get rid of. Our doc gave her some cream for a yeast infection but its been almost 5 days and its still there (in the past, yeast diaper rashes, which DD seems to be prone too, start to clear up in 1-2 days max). Food allergies run in the family so I wouldn't be surprised if she had a food allergy. We suspect milk since we skipped giving her milk at dinner yesterday and the rash seemed to get a little better, then we gave her a little milk she got red again.

Here's my questions, for those of you with milk allergy kids do they get nasty diaper rashes? If so, does it look like a yeast rash (bright red, some raw areas) or does it look totally different? Is there anything, other than eliminating the milk, that helped the rash go away? My poor baby is suffering, she hasn't had milk or any other milk product since yesterday and is still red and sore. Any info you can give that will help would be greatly appreciated!!!
