Default blood tests, celiac disease, and sorbitol/fructose intolerance

Hello! I posted a couple months ago...wondering if my boys might have allergies. My now 12 month old has had eczema since he was 4 months, diarrhea, diaper rash and is very gassy. My 3 year old has had chronic diarrhea since he was about 1 year old (seems to be related to fruit, apple juice, honey....). They have a cousin (only 10 months old) who is allergic to milk protein.

I finally went to a gasteroenterologist. They are testing both of them for allergies and celiac disease. They gave them both blood tests and we are in the 2 week wait for results.

I'm just curious if anyone has any experience with any sugar intolerances besides lactose. That is something my older son may have. Or anyone with celiac disease? I'm not too worried that they have that as they are both very healthy, they've gained weight/height like they should. I'm also curious how accurate the blood tests are.

Just looking for any insights as I wait. Its hard, my DH and MIL arent too supportive of me testing them. I'm tired of the diarrhea and diaper rashes though!

I'm still nursing my 12 month old, I did a dairy elimination diet for about 4 weeks, I didnt notice any big improvement. I've added back in a little dairy since then and didnt notice a huge difference either. But, I've been adding more solids to his diet and he's extremely gassy all the time and has his diaper rash again. He's only eating baby oatmeal, rice krispies, graham crackers. I tried soy yogurt and whole milk yogurt one time, but they told me to wait with that. I need to try fruits and veggies again but those have always given him diarrhea, I'm nervous to try. My older boy is taking culterelle (probiotic) and will take something incase he has giardia....I'm waiting for the prescription. I've only eliminated apple juice, fruit snacks, and honey from his diet.

Thanks for listening and any advice or info someone may have,
Tiffany
