I did my taxes in early May. Got them all mailed off and was going to have them direct deposited. We checked right around we should be getting them....and it never came. So we starting calling. Got the run around. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, someone told us to wait one week and then if it wasn't in, then to e-file our taxes because it must have gotten lost in the mail (or lost in their system ) So we waited a week and called again just to make sure that's what they wanted up to do.
So I go to open up my Turbotax to find out that I had done it on my old hard drive and that while I had saved the file, it wouldn't transfer over to the new install on the Turbotax.
So yes, ladies, I did my taxes TWICE this year.
A visit from my MIL then doing my taxes again a day after her visit. Is this hell? And not only that, I lost $400 in my refund. I don't know where I had gotten that in the first place but I didn't get that extra bit when I did it the second time. .
