Default Wasn't really trying but what do you think?

I've been on the boards before but along time ago. I have a DS who is 2 and we tried all last year to ttc again and hopefully a girl. I ended up pregnant last July but miscarried at 8 weeks. They found a large cyst on one of my ovaries and I had to wait to ttc again until it cleared up. I ended up having surgery to remove it in early November. My OB told me to try and wait another cycle and then we could finally ttc again, so we were planning to try in Jan.

I think b/c we had to try for so long in the first place we thought it would be difficult to ttc again. This cycle, we dtd on cd 10 and used no BC but did use Replens for a lubricant. I thought this was so early it wouldn't matter. I usually O around CD 15 at the earliest. We also DTD (put used the pull-out method) on CD 17 and 18. It is now CD 28 and I usually have AF by now. I guess my cycles could just be off but now I'm starting to wonder if I could be pg? I know you are extra fertile after a MC and after surgery especially. Any thoughts on this. What do you think of the "attempt"? Of course we would be thrilled if we were pg but really didn't plan to try until Jan. We still want a girl, but really just a happy and healthy little one.

Thanks if you read all this!

You could be, anything is possible! I got pregnant using the withdrawl method in July. Had a MC in Sept. We were trying, but now we decide to wait. We haven't learned our lesson. We used the withdrawel method this month as our BC. If we become pregnant, which I'm begining to think has happend. We got pregnant on CD 10 and I too usually ovulate on CD 15. I'll be excited if I am. Only reason we decide to wait now was my DH will be going to medical school next year. Its going to be hard enough with the two small children we already have, not to mention a 2 month old baby. I hope you get what you want. Best wishes.

Shannon
