BABY BOY!!!

My son was SO happy. He didn't want a girl baby. He started clapping and jumping up & down. I haven't been able to scan the pictures off but when I can I will send some. I was around 18 wks and the baby weighed 11 oz. My duedate from my O date was March 4th & from LMP was March 9th & from U/S was February 28th. Hopefully we will get to set up our C-section date soon and the official countdown can begin... Anyway, just wanted to let everyone know... Also, babys spine is very healthy, but they are looking at the possibilities of what could have flagged the AFP results and right now are concerned that I might have hypertension later on. So, I go back to the City in 1 month and have another U/S...
Anyway, just wanted to let you all know...

I am pretty new here and wanted to say that' wonderful. I love having 2 boys--they are such great playmates and buddies now at ages 4 and 2.

Were you trying for a boy or girl? Did you do anything to try to sway the odds? Just curious.

You sound so happy, it is just great!

Congratulations on your baby boy! Having 2 boys is alot of fun and yours will be at the right age with being close.

AmyBeth, Congratulations on your baby boy. I swear 2005 is the year of the boy!!! Two boys really is wonderful. It's great for boys to have brothers. I hope all goes well with the rest of your tests and that you won't have to worry about hypertension later on. What will your little man's name be?
