Default timing for a girl

quick question, I am hoping to conceive a girl this time around so that I will have 2 of each. If I O on the 30th like the calculators claim (I have a 28 day cycle), should I BD the 26,27 and 28, only or incl the 29th?

I'm no expert, but I believe you should NOT include the 29th. I will be trying for a girl as well and my plan is to stop DTD two days before O. Good Luck this time! I'll be here if you want to chat some more about the girl stuff. This board tends to be pretty slow, but I'm hoping to speed things up if I check in here enough

P.S. What did you do for your last girl pregnancy?

Well my first two were surprises, so I didn't do anything to have one gender over another, with the 3rd I Bd'd on O day and of course got my boy, now all 3 are asking for a sister and I really want another little girl so have to actually time it right to be far enough away to give the X spermies a better shot but not so far away to miss O completely, good grief, sometimes I believe it was easier to just be surprised with being pg lol

I agree about a surprise being easier than all of this! Luckily, we have this board to come to to obsess over this silly stuff!!! I think you should be fine as long as you know when you are ovulating and stop DTD two days before. I used a clearblue fertility monitor with both of my boys and I knew they were boys from the start. We only DTD the day before and the day I O'd. This time, I'm trying just the opposite Everyone is asking for a girl for our last one, but I must admit that I LOVE being a mom to boys

P.S.- I am still nursing my youngest, but I should be done by the time we start TTC in May. Do you think I will have more trouble with my cycle because of just weaning?

hmm tough call, It's like the pill some women return to regular cycles right away others not for some time. After you other son how quickly did your cycle return after weaning?

2 months after he weaned I got my first period back, but I didn't nurse him as long due to complications. Presley has been such a great nurser! I plan to stop in March and hopfully have my period back by May (to start TTC a girl).

Have you heard of anyone having any luck doing any of the methods for TTC a specific gender besides the Shettles method (timing with ovulation)? I did Shettles for our first boy and it obviously worked. I just want to really try everything we can for #3 since it will be our last baby!
