Icon5 Should my chart look like this?

Hello everyone,
I have a question about my chart. It might just be too soon to tell, but is my temps ok? They keep going lower & lower. When ovulation comes it will go higher than my highest one yet, is that right?
TIA,
AmyBeth

My chart

Don't take your temp during your period. Start at cycle day 6 and go from there. Its funny that your temps were up during your period (usually they are lower). Was your period different in anyway?

Wow, that is quite the drop! Are you taking your temps everyday at the same time without interuption to go to the bathroom? You need to take the temp at the same time every morning and hopefully, you won't wake up to go to the bathroom within three hrs of taking your temp. You probably know that already, though.

I would disgard your first four temps. Normally I would agree with Kelly about not starting to take your temps until cd6, but since you O very early, I would suggest that you start temping on cd5 of your cycle. However, I don't know if this is the norm for you so I would probably keep temping everyday for another cycle or two but if your temps are super high like this cycle, disgard the first four temps and from then on, don't temp until cd5.

HTH!

Okay I was always told CD1 starts when you get your period. Is that not right? My period wasn't any different in any other way. This is so frustrating to me. My hormones get messed up b/c my ovaries don't produce enough, do you think that is why it is like that? This is only my 2nd cycle off of my bc pills, though. I temp before going to the bathroom. I haven't been consistant in charting, but my chart has never looked like this and I am afraid my hormones are already messed up and I may not ovulate... I am so afraid we'll never have another baby I'm so afraid of what my Dr. will say, what if he won't help us? I'm sorry to be such a downer...
TIA

Actually, my temp usually starts at about 97.7 on CD1 (During my period.) but doesn't drop like that.

I went in and discarded CD 1-4. So I am on CD 6, right? I don't want to have that wrong...
Thanks,

You start your new cycle and new chart on cd1, but you don't have to add your temp, just add that you are having your period. I'm sure your body is still adjusting to not being on bcp anymore. It will, don't worry!

The reason your temps are up is because of the BCP. It might take another month to get them out of your system and your body to kick in. It's way too early to start worrying about what your chart looks like and if you can get PG. Did you have any trouble last time getting pregnant?
