Icon5 Opinions about The Birth Planning Center?

I am new to this, but in searching the web on gender selection I came across this website, choosethesexofyourbaby.com. It is from The Birth Planning Center and says they have a 94% sucess rate and a double your money back guarantee. They will send you 4 days of each month for a year that you will conceive the gender you want. It all sounds too easy and too good to be true. Any thoughts on this method??

and I have heard of alot of these types of places throughout my ttc journey. I have heard some success stories. Most of them will give you dates depending on the moon theory or cutoff days. Some give you supplements, some give you both. All I would say is check any of them out really carefully. Ask for their guarantee in writing and see what if any charges there are if you try to get your money back. Sometimes companies will say they'll give you your money back and than in fine print it will say *minus shipping and handling chareges* or something like that and than you find out that the shipping charges are like half of what you paid for the kit. Look at the tips thread at the top of the posts and you will get some really great advice there too. Are you trying for a girl or a boy? There are women here from both sides and they all have great advice and are wonderful support. good luck. I hope to see you around here more.

Thanks for the advice. I desparatly want a girl after having 2 wonderful boys. I am so confused on what to try. There is so much out there and I have no clue which way to go and this website seems so easy, but I am so scared it is a scam and I would still be at my 50/50 chance of having a girl. I can't decide the best way to increase my odds. Any more advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Just read all the quotes above and noticed the dates. I really wondered how you got on and did you manage to have a girl in the End? I like you have two boys and having a girl now has become all consuming. I know any healthy child would be a blessing, but the longing for pink just keeps getting stronger. I tried to log onto the web site today and noticed that I cannot and it has changed ownership. I was not sent any email notifying me of this and so now have no dates to go by. I am just going to try and work them out for myself. I wondered what happened to Martine. Selling the whole thing on seems like a bit of a scam to me.
Anyway hope your dreams came true.

hi there. i'm a mother of two boys ( 3and 1/2 and 8 months) I ordered the "kit" from the choosethesex website and i got this letter with 5 ph test strips. i was told to test and if all was ok i could access the crucial dates (was given a link) page and immediately start ttc but for 5 days now i have not been able to access the page it keeps saying unavailable and maybe the address has been changed. to add to my fury the contact page is completely frozen and is only available during the working hours which is totally not true cos it's completely frozen!!! there are no phone numbers no e-mail addresses nothing! I definitely think it's a scam!! I guess i fell hard cos of my desperation for a girl

I signed up for their newsletter. The address probably doesn't work for replies, but buried at the very bottom of it was the following address:
B.P. Center
11-300 Earl Grey Dr. Suite 223
Kanata , Ontario
K2T 1C1 , Canada

Don't know if that'll help at all. I couldn't find a phone number, but using canada411.com, i searched for Hopkins (Candace's claimed last name) and Kanata, Ontario & found 2 number. Don't know if either of them are her.

I also found this page Gender Selection - Contact Us which supposedly has contact info.

I researched that website when I had come across it and had found a lot of the same stories here. It was impossible to get help after paying. Good luck!

I saw the website and knew it had to be too good to be true! I came on here i guess for validation. We have 4 girls and want to try for a boy, but we obviously dont have a very good track record, lol. All of the procedures are too expensive and i dont feel right playing with my next childs destiny. Any suggestions on how to have a boy??? Im in pink up to my eyeballs!

A great websight to search is ingender.com -- they have LOTS of different methods and research studies to support the methods. Good luck!

Hi

I have just done the same thing and exactly the same thing has happened to me. Has any money gone out of your account? I did it a couple of days ago.

If you got scammed by this website there IS a trail you can follow to try to get your money back!

My very clever hubby told me how to find out who owned the websites choosethesexofyourbaby.com and their new one BABY-GENDER-SELECTION-PROGRAM.COM

they are both registered by

TUCOWS INC.

Domain name: BABY-GENDER-SELECTION-PROGRAM.COM

Administrative Contact:
contactprivacy.com,
96 Mowat Ave
Toronto, ON M6K 3M1
CA
+1.4165385457

This domain's privacy is protected by contactprivacy.com. To reach the domain contacts, please go to WHOIS Privacy Confirmation and follow the instructions

Since I was not scammed by them I cannot get the details but if all the ladies here who were scammed go via this link you are bound to get some information

Hope you get them!

Hi there

Yes theres a lot of advice on how to try for a boy - I wanted to add a simple 3 step

Use "Pre-Seed" sperm friendly lubricant - its boy friendly as its alkaline based. Also having a big O before or during makes your cervical fluid more alkaline - so then you have ideal conditions for the boy sperm to survive - its a matter of timing. If you can pinpoint your ovulation to within 24 hours you try at least 3 times, once 24hrs before, then on actual ovulation and again 12 hours after ovulation. The egg is only around for 24 hours and the boy sperm is faster but not as tough as the girl sperm.

Generally wanting a girl just means trying more than 2 days before ovulation and keeping the naturaly acidic cervical fluid as it is - with a boy it should get to the egg first and by the time the girl sperm gets there the egg wont be viable anymore (this is if you only try on or as close to ovulation as possible).

I hope you suceed! if not - its a pretty dertermined little miss that would arrive
