Icon5 New here and ? about conceiving a girl

Hi ladies! I'm a newbie and need some help..
I've been ttc for 7 months w/ no luck..
I really want to ttc a girl using shettles but since i only have one day of ewcm(usually the day of O) conceiving itself has been so difficult.
I know you're supposed to have no ewcm to conceive a girl but since i had no luck for the past 7 months(my ds was conceived first try w/ tons of ewcm) what if i bd the first day i have ewcm? should that lead to a boy?
I'm worried since i'm not conceiving (cutoff is 2 days) at all with one day of ewcm, if i use sudafed or cranberry to even dry up completely, i won't ever conceive.
What do you ladies think?
Should i bd up until i see a +++ on my opk?
i read in some article that if you bd as your cm changes from ewcm to sticky you'll conceive a boy and if you bd while you have ewcm before it changes to sticky you'll conceive a girl. Is that true?
should i make my cutoff day to one day instead of two and use cranberry or sudafed?
I'm taking calcium/magnesium, EPO, PRenatal and red raspberry right now..
I was even thinking about using rubitussen to have more days of ewcm but should that lead to a boy???
I need some help, PLEASE!!!!!!!

First off, to TTCASG!

If you can manage it, and if your body is pretty good at giving you signs you have ovulated, I would try an O + 12 attempt to conceive a girl. There is a higher success rate for this method (you can find the link to all the information on O + 12 in the Tips/Links thread at the top of this board). If you notice a change from EWCM to sticky, then you know you have ovulated and you start counting the hours from the time you first notice sticky to 12 hours (or around there). It is just one of many theories on how to TTC a girl. HTH!

Hello. I am so glad you found us! I agree with Erin. It sounds like an 0+12 attempt might be good for you. I can imagine how after 7 months you must be very frustrated. Many of us have just come to whether or not we just want another baby, regardless of gender. If having a girl really matters (which it obviously does or you wouldn't be here) than I would definatly try EVERYTHING you can. Good luck to you. I hope you concieve that little girl soon!

Good luck in getting your girl. I too have been ttc a girl for several months. It's frustrating b/c I was pregnant was ds the first month we tried (no charting or temping or anything). This month we dtd up until the day before a +OPK. I think if I'm not pregnant this month we might dtd every other day and get closer to O. I'm taking cran/ mag/ and Lydia Pinkham. BTW I heard that EPO was a supp for boys? I might be confused though. I barely had any EWCM this month either and I used to have tons (so I guess it's the supps). I also took sudafed the days I did see watery or EWCM. I really want a girl but I also really want to be pregnant too!
