Hi there! I also have 2 boys, and we are going to try for a girl this summer. I did a LOT of research and there is a lot out there...just which one do u follow? To me, it all seemed confusing...a lot of conflicting information (i.e diet). At this point, i still don't really know what exactly i'm gonna do/try to try to conceive that baby girl i've always wanted.

I wish you the best, and please KUP!

My boys are 6 and 4. Up until a month ago, we had decided we were done but i just felt that i wanted one more baby. I've read about shettles and heard a LOT that it doesn't work. I'm not even sure if anything does. Here are some sites i've visited...

Baby-Gender-Selection-Program.com
Baby Gender Selection - Safe and Effective - Conceive a boy or girl : GenSelect.com
Baby Gender Selection - Conception Calendar

I've done extensive research on these 3 sites but they r pricey. The first one seems like a good one until we really read and see that there r a lot of extra stuff u gotta pay for (ph level testing kit, the gender diet, and some other thing to get ur period in sinc with the days they say u can convince a girl or a boy).

I've found some reviews on these sites and ppl seem to think they don't work. I think it would be really nice if there was someone who actually did one of these that we could actually talk to but i wouldn't know where to look for that.

I think if i try anything, i will give the timing of intercourse a try and test the acidity of my vaginal tract..and leave the rest up to fate

How old r ur boys? and when will u be trying for ur girl?

I checked out the sites..it all seems very confusing to me...

My oldest is almost 2 and my baby is almost 3 months.

Not too sure when we will try for our girl, but I do know I dont want them to be very far apart being that my body is healthy right now, I had a cousin diagnosed with cervical cancer, she may have to have a hysterectomy, and she wants more kids!

so that makes me alittle scared because I KNOW Im not finished having children!

When will you be trying???

I would have liked to have tried just this past cycle but dh is off on short term disability and he didn't want to try just yet. And seeing as i don't want another winter baby (Owen was born in Dec and Kyle was born in January), i'm gonna wait to try til July, that would give me a spring baby which i would love! but the waiting is gonna kill me! A friend of mine just found out she is pregnant and due in October. It would have been nice to be pregnant with her...I would have been due in october too if we would have conceived this past cycle Oh well, nothing i can do now...gonna have to wait and wait and wait!

I love ur new siggy! I gotta figure out how to do that so i can have one for myself!

Ur boys look very cute and ur little one is still so young...i would never be considering trying again having a little one so young. My boys were 2 yrs apart which i find now to be too close in age! They fight like crazy! But i definitely didn't plan on having one 5 years after my last child was born...that seems like such a big age gap. To think, we gotta start all over. Both my boys now shower themselves...which i love! no more diapers, i finally get to sleep in...sometimes i think i'm crazy for wanting another lol
