Default My Wal mart story

I was at Walmart yesterday and of course, because school is out I had all three boys with me. I was standing in the check out line and I looked over at the line next to me. There was a mom there with four boys. I was watching them as the teased each other and tried to make the little ones cry(typical boys). I guess the mom caught me staring and said " are you having another boy?" I laughed and said that I didn't know the gender. I told her that I was watching her boys and thinking to myself, that could be me in a few months. She laughed and said, as much as I want a little girl, I don't think she would fit in with all of this. We laughed together and I realized that it was such an awesome thing to see four brothers together. Don't get me wrong, I still want a little girl more than anything, but it made me realize how special that bond between brothers is. Oh and for anyone who has boys, you have GOT to read Bringing up Boys by Dr. Dobson. Oh my gosh, I just started readining it and I am just chuckling through the whole thing. He really gives a great insight on the world of boys!

I'll have to read that...in fact, I think I have that somewhere and just never read it. You know, I, too, wonder how a girl would fit in with the mayhem of boys. (Of course, girls can cause plenty of mayhem on their own.)

I have thought many a time how SCARY it would be to actually have a girl after three boys. How would she fit in, WHERE would she fit in?

Great story!

Great story... and it IS a great book. I think any mother of boys should read it. It helped me understand my son (and my Dh for that matter) a lot better.
