Do any of you know about gender selection and the high tech ways to conceive the gender of your choice? What about cost? I cannot do IVF, I believe it's $20,000? So, WAY too expensive, lol!

The reason I ask, is in the future, I may try for a daughter, but I can only try if I can pretty much guarantee it's going to be a girl, and would be willing to do something like this to get one more daughter. I'll have 5 boys by the time my twin boys get here. I feel like having one more girl is a dream I just can't let slip away. I know I will need at least two more years and things to go smoothly before making the final decision, but I was just curious.

If you can't afford to do Microsort/IVF maby combined with PGD (guarantees you a girl 100%) that costs around 18-20.000$, you could do Microsort with iui, but the chance of getting pregnant isn't so high as with ivf. You could also do Ericson, but that it is only around 68 % effective for a girl. At in-gender, there are girls that are doing at home high tech gender selection with success.

Microsoft has a very long waiting list at the moment, while they are waiting to be approved by the government.

I really don't know that we'll be able to try again for a girl, because there's really no way I can do the IVF. It sucks that it's SO expensive, lol!

Oh well, if not, that's ok...we certainly tried for a girl, but ended up with two more boys. They will be loved lots.
