To answer your questions...

I LOVE being a mommy to a little boy and YES, I have been squirted- a few times actually. I dont mind, though....it's only happened at home, so that is good. He is so different than the girls. I am not sure if it is because I am more relaxed or what, but he is really a dream baby.

He gives me a 5 hour stretch of sleep every night. I put him down in his crib at 9:00 and he goes until 2. Then he is up usually at 5 and again for the day at 7:00. During the day he nurses a lot, so I am not worried about the 5 hour stretch. I have a baby scale at home and he is gaining 1 oz a day. He is 9lbs 4 oz today. He was 7 lbs 13 at birth, so at three weeks he is doing great!!!

Sounds like Robert is a perfect baby, not to mention that life is good. Having a healthy baby is so grounding and spiritual. I always felt exceptionally blessed after having my boys, I need to have that same gratefulness everyday but it seems to fade with the day-to-day chaos.

Enjoy the sounds, smells and quiet moments that only a newborn can give. It won't be long before he's running, screaming and yes...making car sounds, that too is innate for a boy. But after two girls all of it is part of what you were longing for. I'm going to plan for granddaughters, I'm just certain I'll have my girl some day. Dispite not having a nurturing girl, the boys are so helpful and good to my youngest...and seeing that was worth going for it again.

Where do you live again? What's the time difference over there?

Glad to see you have a moment to post, your girls are beautiful but I don't see a picture of Robert yet...is it my computer?
