when this baby will be coming.

I went in last week, and had some blood pressure issues, and the dr. said that if I was still having the same problems, that he would schedule and induction date. I'm thinking that with the amount of stress in my life over the last month, that there is no way that it will come down enough in a week for him to want this child to stay inside of me and cook. So, I'll try to give an update and let everyone know what is going on. The only way that I won't be able to do that is if he wants me to go to the hospital from the clinic.

Hopefully I will have a birth story and some pictures of a little boy to share with everyone before next week.

Oh, Jen, this is just so exciting! I can't wait to see

of your precious little boy. I know you have been waiting a long time for this. You must be thrilled!! Hang in there, he's almost here!

Thanks Erin, but no such luck. My swelling has gotten worse, the blood pressure has gone up, and now I have protein in my urine, and they are going to "see what happens" in another week. I'm so pissed off, that I cannot stop crying. Why in hell would you chance it.

The dr. said that it is normal to have protein in my urine, but I've never had that happen with any of the girls. And he said the the blood pressure was because I had the girls with me. BS! I've always had the girls with me, and the last time dh went with me and that was when the bp started to go up. Sorry for the rant

That's okay, sweetie! I am actually surprised that since your BP is up and that you have protein in your urine that they just don't go ahead and induce you now? I mean, you are technically considered full-term, so why risk your health along with the baby's?

strange.

In any case, I hope they change their minds, and you will be having him sooner than you'd hope!

Well, when dh talked to the dr. the dr. said that my blood pressure is down. I saw what was written down both times, and I know it went up. He also said that it was trace amounts of protine, and nothing to worry about. The dr. also told him that the baby was moving, so he figured it would be better to just wait until after the 38 week mark. "It will be better for me and the baby." Anyway, I've decided that unless I have to be induced, I'll just wait for real labor to start.
