Default Gender selection question

As my name indicates, I have three gorgeous little boys. I had my tubes tied in December and now regret it as I really do want to try for my little girl..

DH is currently not on board for the decision and although I'm working on him about it, I am not pushing it. I would, however, love to get some information on the success of different gender selection techniques as my only option right now is to either get my tubal reversed or to get IVF w/gender selection. Obviously, IVF is a lot more expensive and the reversal would be more expensive but I there would be more of a chance of getting a boy (don't get me wrong though, in the long run, a healthy baby is the most important factor!!!).

Anyways, I'd love to hear what has worked for you ladies, what the chances of using more natural means of gender selection or results of IVF related gender selection .... all that kind of stuff!

TIA!!

Default Re: Gender selection question

Kristin! I don't know of stories where a woman has had a tubal reversal and tried to sway gender. I would think that Microsort would be the true way to go if you want to semi-guarantee a girl, since they sort the sperm and then implant that specific embryo. If you sway the gender with the methods posted on the Tips/Links thread, there is always a chance for the opposite gender. It is such a personal choice, it is hard to give good advice, kwim? I wish you the best of luck in trying to conceive your future dd!
