Icon3 On A Gender Diet? Need Inspiration?

Hi,

I just came accross this great site and thought that I would post it here as I think it is going to come in so handy for me on the GIRL DIET or should I said... The I CANT EAT ANYTHING DIET!

I am always struggling to work out potassium contents as in Australia it is not a requirement to list the potassium content on foods, not sure what it is like everywhere else.

Anyway this is a recipe site with a difference - You can search for recipes that contain certain parameters eg all recipes that are less than 200mg of potassium per serve. Check it out here: http://www.recipezaar.com/search/

I am looking through now so that I can finally start just making 1 meal again, rather than one for the family and then whatever I can find for me!

I have been on the diet now for about 3 weeks, and am going to wait one more cycle then TTC in August!

Cheers
Sara

Just a quick update on the recipe site, be careful to check that all the ingredients are linked to nutrition data.
Check over on the right hand side and if you see this:

"Nutrition Facts for some measurements or ingredients are not included in data below"

It means that there are some ingredients listed that are not in the database, you can tell which ones as they are not underlined.

I have still found heaps of recipes to try, you just need to take a good look at the ingredients.

Cheers

Thank you for the post. I will try to check out those recipes later. I am trying to gear up to start the girl diet, but haven't been very successful in motivating myself yet. I am not TTC for another couple of months so I am feeling a little lazy at this point.

The Girl Diet is SO DIFFICULT! I am being really strict, but I struggle to find anything to eat! Good thing that I needed to lose weight, so far i have lost about 4 kilos in 4 weeks so i am really happy with that part!

We will be TTC in about 4 weeks so i hope that I dont have to keep doing this for too long.
